How do I get to Summit at the Salamander?

• By plane: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is a 10 minute drive from the Salamander or 20 minutes from the La Quinta.

• By train: Washington Union Station (WAS) is 15 minutes from both the Salamander and La Quinta.​

• By car: Both the Salamander and La Quinta have parking available for a fee.

  • Salamander: Valet parking only, $86.50 per night. There are other garages in the area if you’d prefer to search for an overnight, self-park option.​

  • La Quinta:  Onsite guest parking for $15 per night.

What are the hotel check in and check out times?

If I already reserved my room, do I need to register for the event?

• Yes, please register on the registration page here. 

Where are some places to eat/things to do nearby?

• The Salamander features a private pedestrian footbridge with easy access to the District Wharf, a vibrant location offering restaurants, shops and waterfront activities.

• Salamander DC is also conveniently located two blocks from The National Mall, home to the Smithsonian Institution Building, National Museum of Natural History, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, National Air and Space Museum, United States Botanic Garden, and much more.

What time does the event start?

• Branch Manager meeting 10/8 starts at 12pm (lunch will be provided).

• Sales Summit 10/9 8am breakfast, 9am start.

• Cocktail hour/awards ceremony 5pm right across the hall from Summit.

Do I need to check in for the event?

• Yes, there will be a check-in table outside the main conference room in the Salamander beginning at 8am on 10/9

What should I wear to Summit?

• Business casual/smart casual. Keep in mind conference rooms tend to be a little chilly.

• Our cocktail hour and awards dinner will be held immediately after Summit, so don’t worry about changing between events.

Is there a dress code for the awards dinner?

• Business casual is fine! Since the cocktail hour and dinner follow the Summit directly, there’s no need to change outfits.

Can I bring a guest?​

• This event is for registered AnnieMac attendees only. Guests are not permitted at Summit sessions or meals.

Is there an option to attend virtually?

• No, this is an in-person only event.

Will there be a shuttle to the Salamander if I stay at La Quinta?

• Yes. Shuttles will run between the La Quinta and Salamander throughout the event. A detailed schedule will be provided closer to the event.

Will photos or videos be taken during the event?

• Yes, our team will be capturing event highlights. By attending, you consent to having your photo taken and used for internal and promotional purposes.
